Loki

Loki is a petite AKC Registered liver parti Shih Tzu. He is a nicely balanced Shih Tzu in a tiny package. He is a soft, gentle, tender baby boy. He’s so delicate that when he gets real mad and tries to tell another dog, they don’t even realize he’s being snappy. They think he’s giving an awkwardly playful nose boop. He doesn’t even growl, just boops them and glares like “take that!!”. The maddest he gets is when another tzu interrupts his cuddles with Allyssa, his favorite human on earth. Loki could lay in bed with Allyssa all day and all night snuggling with no other need in the world! He’s a doll!! He is mild mannered and sugar sweet. He enjoys kayaking, taking walks, hiking, car rides, and sleeping wrapped around Allyssa’s head or wedged up under her neck.

Loki is a tiny little Shih Tzu, weighing in a couple pounds below the AKC Breed Standard weight of 9-16 lbs. He has a nice coat, a nice proportional body, a small frame, and smaller eyes.

He is super clingy and loves to he with us at all times. He is so devoted, he will go do whatever it is we’re doing, even if he’s not particularly fond of it – just to be with us. Such as kayaking around Boca Grande Island. He loves the part where he’s sitting in mommy’s lap. Then we get out to explore the shore or the water and he begrudgingly jumps out of the kayak to stay right at our side, even swimming through little rivers of water or trotting through puddles and tide pools. He is so funny and expressive, you can tell he’s peeved to be all wet but he’s the one that chose to follow us instead of just wait! Haha. Allyssa has a lot of conversations with this little character. He is full of charm and full of mischeif!
